A NOTE TO ALL COACHES: This summer, I have seen more posts than ever on Facebook where coaches I know in many sports are taking vacations. Not a day trip somewhere–like, actually leaving town and going somewhere cool for a week or more-type vacations.

GOOD FOR YOU!!! I’ve only been out of high school coaching for about 10 years, but back then, I remember it being unheard of to leave your team during summer workouts, leagues, team camps, etc. and take a vacation. Maybe it happened, but I just missed it. Either way, it’s good to see coaches taking time away before the insanity begins again shortly! #MentalHealth
