In about a year from now, Kansas City is going to open up a brand new airport. Many locals have fought it because they don’t want to sacrifice the speediness of getting from curb to gate.
However, those who connect through KCI find our airport frustrating on many levels due to the lack of amenities and some modern conveniences for those who layover here. Plus, frankly, our current airport is literally falling apart.
My friend, Justin Meyer, who is the Deputy Director of Aviation – Marketing and Air Service Development at the airport, gave me a tour of the new facility, and I’m really excited about how it’s going to enhance our city!
I appreciate Justin for giving me an opportunity to look around!
