He definitely got a lot out of his 13 years of existence. He kind of looked like the dog emoji , starred in some of my stay at home pandemic movies, survived tornado warnings in my basement along with two surgeries to remove items that he shouldn’t have eaten, and was an incredibly fun and happy King Charles Cavalier Spaniel for Peanut, Murphy, and I to be around.

Unfortunately, he took a bad turn this week and couldn’t overcome kidney failure, pancreatitis, and heart disease, so I made the difficult decision today to end his suffering.

We will miss him dearly.
