PLEASE KEEP CHECKING YOUR EMAIL AND ARBITER CONSTANTLY: Those are where the latest updates and announcements will be. As we already know, the situation changes minute by minute, so please make sure to stay up to date on the latest information!
The GKCOA leadership team has been thrilled with the turnout for our first two meetings. We are proud that so many officials are wanting to improve. Thank you for your support! Hopefully the high attendance means that we are providing information that you actually want to hear and is helping you get better! Great job!!
MASK/COVID PROTOCOLS
At this point, we do not know what our protocols will be. We should know more by our next meeting on Aug. 22 at Winnetonka
DO YOU NEED EQUIPMENT?
Get Official has closed their brick-and-mortar store in North Kansas City, and now you can only order online. If you want to order equipment/uniforms from Get Official, we have arranged for you to order online through Aug. 11, and we will have it available for you to pick up at the GKCOA meeting on Aug. 22 at Winnetonka and avoid shipping costs. Here’s how you do it:
- Place your order on www.getofficial.com.
- When you get to the coupon code area, enter GKCOA21 to remove shipping costs – this code expires after Aug. 11!!
- When you get to billing address, use your own address, but for the SHIPPING ADDRESS, use Winnetonka HS, 5815 NE 48th St, Kansas City, MO 64119. Doing that will let them know you will pick up your order at Winnetonka and they will put it in a separate pile—I will then go pick up that pile myself prior to Aug. 22 and bring it to the meeting that night.
- If you want the order to be sent to you at home directly, that’s fine—but you will be charged shipping costs.

MAKE SURE WE ARE PROPERLY ACCEPTING ASSIGNMENTS IN ARBITER
The assignors have noticed that a number of assignments have gone unaccepted and therefore cancelled because they believe that people don’t properly accept their assignments from their schedule page. The video below shows how to accomplish that.
